The Last Quality Gate
After every automated inspection and electrical test, a human inspector makes the final decision. Under 10-40x Olympus microscopes at one of 40 stations: solder mask, silkscreen, surface finish, edge condition, dimensional verification against fabrication drawing. Each board individually examined to IPC-A-600 criteria. Approved boards are vacuum-sealed with desiccant and humidity indicator card. The inspector sign-off is the last quality decision before the customer opens the package.
