LTM4616MPV#PBF is a complete dual-channel, two-phase, 8A per channel output, switching mode DC/DC power regulator system. It adopts a 15mm x 15mm surface mount type LGA or BGA package. The package is equipped with a switching controller, power FET, inductor, and all supporting components. The operating input voltage range of LTM4616MPV#PBF is 2.7V to 5.5V, and it can support two outputs within the voltage range of 0.6V to 5V (each set by a single external resistor). This highly efficient design provides up to 8A of continuous current (peak 10A) for each output. Only large-capacity input and output capacitors (depending on the ripple requirements) are needed. This device can also be configured for a two-phase single-output with a maximum of 16A. The two flat packages can utilize the unused space on the PC board surface to achieve high-density load point regulation. LTM4616MPV#PBF has fault protection functions including overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection, and thermal shutdown. This power module uses space-saving and heat-resistant enhanced 15mm x 15mm x 2.82mm LGA and 15mm x 15mm x 3.42mm BGA packages. LTM4616MPV#PBF has pin coating that complies with SnPb (BGA) or RoHS standards.
