The Qorvo QPA1022 11GHz 4W gallium nitride (GaN) power amplifier supports the tight lattice spacing requirements for phased array radar applications. The power amplifier is an ideal component for test instruments and commercial communication systems. The QPA1022 has a saturated output power of >4W and a large-signal gain of 24.5dB, while achieving a power-added efficiency of >45%. The QPA1022 is matched to 50Ω, and integrated isolation capacitors for DC are present at the RF output and DC ground input ports. This device also has an internal power detector for system RF power checks.
