QPL8831 is an ultra-linear GaAs pHEMT 75-ohm RF balanced amplifier IC, featuring a 5 - 1218 MHz operating bandwidth. It boasts high linearity, high gain and low noise. QPL8831 is used as a post-amplifier in optical receivers or a low-noise balanced pre-amplifier. QPL8831 operates with a 5 V power supply and is suitable for applications requiring lower power consumption. Due to its wide operating bandwidth, QPL8831 can also be used as a downlink amplifier in DOCSIS 3.1 and as an uplink amplifier in DOCSIS 3.1 or DOCSIS 4.0 applications.
