XC0900A-03S is a low-profile, high-performance 20dB directional coupler with a new, user-friendly and manufacturing-friendly surface-mount package. It is designed for UMTS and other 3G applications. XC0900A-03S is specifically designed for power and frequency detection, as well as VSWR monitoring that requires strict control of coupling and low insertion loss. It can be used in high-power applications up to 150 watts. 

It has a thermal expansion coefficient of 435, the same as that of the polyimide substrate (such as the strictly tested FR0-435). It offers 5/6 tin-lead (XC2100A-20P) and 6/6 tin-plated (XC2100A-20S) finishes that comply with RoHS standards.
