ADI Company provides integrated front-end ICs for phased array antennas, thereby offering a more compact solution and making deployment easier. The front-end ICs can be combined with ADI's beamforming ICs (such as ADAR1000) for use as transceivers/digital-to-analog converters in analog beamforming antennas or digital beamforming antennas. These front-end ICs integrate power amplifiers (PA), low-noise amplifiers (LNA), and transmit/receive switching chips (SW) that can match antenna elements for radar applications. These compact and simple products make planar array technology possible, which was previously difficult for traditional standard single-function products. These products not only include PA/LNA/SW, but also all the passive circuits required for using these components. Some of these products can be used for CW applications, such as data links and pulse radar applications.
