Never Stop Moving Forward on the Path to Launching New Space-Level Products

Since selling its first space-qualified product for commercial communications satellite applications in 1989, Qorvo has introduced new space-level products every year. Recent examples include the TGA2239-CP, TGA2595-CP, TGA2594-HM, and TGA2636-SM, all developed for space exploration applications.

The TGA2239-CP significantly improves efficiency, gain, and power performance for satellite communications and is a market-leading 35W Ku-band device. It enables output power to be increased to 50W. Customers will experience excellent thermal management, even under CW operation. All three amplifiers shown in the chart are manufactured using Qorvo's production-proven QGaN15 process technology, delivering industry-leading performance and reliability.

The TGA2636-SM is a highly cost-effective, high-performance Ka-band 3W GaN power amplifier. Manufactured using Qorvo's 0.15μm GaN on SiC (Gallium Nitride on Silicon Carbide) process, it offers excellent radiation tolerance and is used in commercial VSAT satellite ground terminals for transmitting high-speed internet data. The Space Exploration Achievements That Make Qorvo Truly Proud

On October 15, 1997, the Cassini-Huygens spacecraft, equipped with Qorvo RF components, was launched on a mission to Saturn. After a long space journey of 6 years and 8 months, covering 3.5 billion kilometers, it successfully entered its planned orbit around Saturn in July 2004, beginning a four-year scientific investigation of Saturn's atmosphere, rings, and moons. On August 17, 2015, the probe flew past the surface of Saturn's moon Dione for the fifth time, coming within 474 kilometers of the moon.

In 2012, the Mars Curiosity rover, featuring Qorvo technology, safely landed on Mars, marking the beginning of NASA's most ambitious Mars mission to date. It is the seventh Mars lander probe from the United States, the fourth Mars rover, and the world's first nuclear-powered Mars rover. In January 2006, NASA launched the New Horizons unmanned probe toward Pluto.
