The Respiratory and Heartbeat Monitoring Radar is an advanced millimeter-wave radar system designed to non-invasively track breathing and heart rate during sleep. It provides real-time monitoring of cardiopulmonary activity, detects bed exits, and continuously assesses physical status and occupancy. Should any abnormalities in vital signs be detected, the system instantly sends alerts to caregivers or medical institutions through a WeChat mini-program, enabling timely response and intervention.
The device employs high-performance FMCW modulation and a highly integrated MMIC architecture for precise signal processing. It features a phased array radar system with DBF (Digital Beamforming) technology, supported by 4 transmitting and 4 receiving antennas, enabling wide-angle detection coverage of up to 100° and an adjustable detection range from 0.2 to 2 meters. The system ensures complete user privacy through non-contact monitoring and offers rapid startup for timely and reliable sleep health oversight.
Applications:
This radar monitoring system is suitable for a wide range of scenarios, including:
Hospital wards
Nursing homes and rehabilitation centers
Home healthcare and wellness monitoring
It provides continuous, non-contact vital sign detection for patients, elderly individuals, and those requiring health oversight, enhancing safety and care efficiency across medical and home environments.
