The QPA8840 is an ultra-linear 22dB gain GaAs amplifier, used for intermediate or output stage amplification in CATV infrastructure applications. The QPA8840 operates under a 12-volt 425-mA power supply. The QPA8840 features a push-pull common-source common-gate design, providing a flat gain and ultra-low distortion from 50 MHz to 1.8 GHz.
